Brahmasri Jagadguru Sri Yaadati Narahari Shastri

Guru 1 Brahmasri Sri Yaadati Narahari Shastri of Rayadurgam was a great spiritual scholar and a master of Brahmavidya. He studied Sanskrit and Telugu and had deep knowledge of the Vedas.

His powerful speech and his excellence in music and literature attracted and inspired many people.

Sri Narahari Shastri was a respected spiritual teacher who explained the deeper meaning of spiritual knowledge. During the sacred occasion of Maha Shivaratri, he met Vedantham Lakshmanacharyulu. Recognizing his spiritual curiosity, he accepted him as his disciple and taught him the profound teachings of Vedanta.

Guru 1Brahmasri Jagadguru Vedantham Lakshmanacharyulu was a respected spiritual teacher and a devoted follower of Vedanta philosophy. From a young age, he showed deep interest in spiritual knowledge and traditional scriptures.
He had the great fortune of becoming a disciple of Brahmasri Jagadguru Sri Yaadati Narahari Shastri, a renowned scholar of Brahmavidya. Under the guidance of his Guru, Lakshmanacharyulu studied the profound teachings of Vedanta, Vedas, and spiritual philosophy.
Through sincere study, devotion, and disciplined practice, he gained deep understanding of spiritual truths. He later dedicated his life to sharing this knowledge with seekers and guiding people on the path of self-realization and spiritual wisdom.
His teachings emphasized the importance of:

  • Understanding the true nature of the Self
  • Living a life guided by Dharma
  • Studying sacred scriptures
  • Practicing devotion and spiritual discipline
Brahmasri Vedantham Lakshmanacharyulu continued the Guru–Shishya tradition, spreading the wisdom of Vedanta and inspiring many spiritual aspirants.

Our Ashram

Our Ashram is a sacred space dedicated to meditation, spiritual learning, and inner peace. Set in a calm and serene environment, it provides seekers an opportunity to practice meditation, attend satsangs, and receive guidance through spiritual teachings. The Ashram encourages individuals to walk the path of self-discipline, devotion, and inner transformation

Spiritual Celebrations

Every year, our Satsang celebrates important spiritual occasions with devotion. The Annual Satsang Celebrations are held on Guru Purnima at the temple in Proddatur, bringing together devotees for prayer, meditation, and spiritual discourse. Last July, the 15th Annual Celebration was conducted successfully. In addition, Shankara Jayanti (May) and Gita Jayanti (December) are celebrated with great reverence through satsangs, recitations, and spiritual programs

Bhagavad Gita Training

For the past 15 years, the Ashram has been conducting Bhagavad Gita Parayana training classes for children from May 1st to May 30th every year. These classes help children learn the sacred verses of the Gita and understand their values. At the end of the program, awards are presented to outstanding students to encourage their spiritual learning.
